Great gaming moments in history......

....Manic Miner sets the Spectrum off big time

Even though the Spectrum was making waves and had some fabulous games behind it, when Manic Miner got out the world went mad for it.  Based on Miner 2049'er , this game took a rather British humor to it and pushed the boat out. Flying feet, blokes with belly's that opened and the infamous dancing telephones were the order of the day. The game was pretty spanky too. This set out lovely little Speccy off to the stars and made lots of Manic Miner clones that carried on well to the end of the Spectrum's life.
